To cut time with light.

What a photograph holds is the light gathered while the shutter was open, and the time its subject has accumulated before that moment.

Lights glowing in familiar places. What remains after people have gone. Forms that resist a name, floating between light and shadow.
I stop before a presence that quietly surfaces in cities, people, and objects, and hold it in a photograph.

Words and music born from the photographs are also part of the work.
Looking at a photograph, listening to words and sound, and returning to the photograph once more. Through that back-and-forth, I hope to create a time in which viewers encounter their own memories and sensations.
